Position of the Heart.
The position of your heart is more important than the process, persuasion, or method.
What are you doing and why? Are you doing to do or for a reason bigger than your what. And frankly, your why should be larger than the what because without a why, what becomes so-what.
Confused yet? Method, process, and persuasion are all extremely crucial in promoting your “something”. Often, fads die hard because they lack the deeper purpose.
Confucius states “Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.” Contrary to popular belief, the position of your heart (when adding value) does not have to conform to some culture trend. It is an indicative feature of you. It’s what makes your something you.
I believe we all believe in something at the end of the day. Wouldn’t an honest world full of people doing their “something” be better than a manufactured lifestyle built to fit an image? Bold statement from someone who’s struggled with trying to fit an image.
I think most of us learn to accept our hearts. The people we truly are deep down. And we’d all like to position our true colors on the forefront and stand proud of that liberation.
Maybe it’s truth. Maybe I’m a dreamer.
But I’ll take dreams and fails all day before I accept a silent life.
What about you?
Can you truly position your heart before the process? Try it, One Day at a Time.
