Windy Willow Foundation announces its first ever Axe Throwing Extravaganza! On January 20th, 2024, The Hub Stadium will open its doors to our axe-wielding friends in support of our 2024 Aid Program giving initiatives.

Tickets are $75/head and includes two hours of axe throwing (7:00pm-9:00pm), a fajita and soda bar and an evening of fun. Cash bar will be available. 50/50 raffle tickets as well as a raffle prize table will also be available.

The Windy Willow Aid Program seeks to make change for adolescent mental health and suicide prevention initiatives. Our 2024 goal is to double the efforts of our impact from 2023. The Aid Program supports local programs in Michigan working to better access, action and advocacy involved with mental health services. The Aid Program also includes a direct applicant program where individuals seeking financial aid for services can apply direct to Windy Willow Foundation.

Welcome to the first ‘Luminate the Day’ competition, located in Grand Rapids, MI. Luminary Fitness and 8th Day Gym are coming together to put on a CrossFit competition to raise awareness for our community of health and wellness.

LTD is 100% nonprofit, where the event will be working to raise funds for Windy Willow Foundation and The Phoenix. Windy Willow Foundation is a nonprofit that provides financial aid for mental health services as well as partner with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to support local programs. The Phoenix is a nonprofit that uses the transformative power of community and connection to build a sober active community all over the US. All programs The Phoenix offers are free!

LTD will begin at Luminary Fitness on May 21st, 2022 at 8:20am, check-in beginning at 7am. The event will then move locations around 12pm to 8th Day to finish the day. The coming together of gyms symbolizes the interconnectedness of community, which we hope to exemplify throughout our day.

Come out and support us at our favorite Grand Rapids coffee shop! Roots Brew Shop will once again be hosting us for a fun night of trivia and treats!

September 11th beginning at 11am Golden Hawk Golf Course will host us for a cart-guided 18 hole round of golf with lunch and dinner included. Single tickets as well as foursomes will be available on our site. We are also looking for hole sponsors and title sponsors!

Join us for a parking lot tailgate followed by a team marathon relay. The “one-in-five” stands for 1/5 individuals experience a mental health run-in, challenge, or issue in a given year.

We’d love to have anyone come out and support. We currently have one full team and are looking to add others. If you’re interested in pulling a team together, I am more than happy to help walk through details. We also plan on bringing some tents, food, and drinks out to the event (if we can) and host a little tailgate. The fun part.

If you want to pull a team together, feel free to register as Windy Willow Foundation 2, 3, etc. Each person can pay individually (don't have to gather everyone's money as the "captain") and “join” the captain’s team. The cost of each runner is $43. We have a discount code “WINDYWILLOW21” which will cut that price to $33/person. Each member gets a t shirt and I believe a medal (could be per team). Again, happy to aid in this sign up process.
